Main Task: Audience Research

The asked 11 questions to sevral people as part of my Audience Research. They are ages 16+ and has experience in dancing.

The 11 questions were:
1. What stereotypical clothing do you think hip hop dancers wear?
2. What type/genre of dance do you think is most popular nowadays?
3. What genre of dance do you prefer? Ballet or Hip hop?
4. Do you think ballet is underrated?
5. What are your three favourite type of dances?
6. Do you think dancing is easier to express yourself?
7. Do you go to any dance classes?
8. Do you have a favourite dance group?
9. Is there anyone who inspired you to dance?
10. Do you dance professionally or is it a hobby?
11. Are there any dance forms you would like to learn?

Evaluation

The 11 questions will help me cover my cover lines, contents page, double spread and helpful tips for when I take my photographs for example my first question will help me choose the clothing which is suitable for my chosen genre. Also they will help me chose what chosen topic I will focus on when I begin creating my magazine. It has given me an overview of what a dance magazine requires and what my target audience looks for.
